Meet Jordyn
“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.”
— Lisa Olivera
Greetings! My name is Jordyn (she/her), and I am an advanced practice social worker with experience supporting people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds with their mental well-being. I aim to create a welcoming, warm space for people to explore and heal with support. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and working alongside clients to help them achieve their goals.
My therapeutic approach focuses heavily on the mind-body connection. I utilize somatic strategies like mindfulness and movement in tandem with talk therapy approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems.
I am passionate about supporting folks with anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment issues, family and relationship struggles, self-esteem, identity, body image, and job or school stress. I am an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and have experience supporting gender-expansive youth and their families.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, running, and hanging out with my friends and family.
