Meet Jessica
Growth isn’t just about being in full bloom; it’s the process by which you get there… and how you continue to thrive after all the messiness from that growth. But often, we can’t do this alone or without the right tools, support, and encouragement. That’s what Jessica is here to help with.
Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Clinical Qualified Supervisor (QS) holding certifications in Yin Yoga and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is currently undergoing training to become a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). Jessica blends elements of Somatic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, Trauma Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Yoga, Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide psychoeducation and design a treatment plan to address her clients’ needs.
Jessica specializes in treating individuals who have suffered from many challenges such as trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, just to name a few. Jessica’s experiences working in Child Advocacy Centers, as an Intensive In-Home Therapist, and in other outpatient counseling centers has prepared and fostered her love for helping others discover how our past still may be influencing our present, how to release emotions and tension we may be storing in our bodies, how to stop self-sabotaging, and how to use and keep healthy and appropriate coping skills.
Unfortunately, “one size fits all” doesn’t apply to therapy, and not every therapist is a perfect match. Jessica understands that therapy can be a vulnerable experience and works hard to be the supportive therapist she would also want herself and her loved ones to have. It’s important for Jessica to have open communication and build strong and adequate rapport with her clients before diving into heavy topics. Reach out to us by filling out our inquiry form to see if Jessica would be a good fit for you!
