Meet Jordyn
“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.”
– Lisa Olivera
Greetings! My name is Jordyn (she/her), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds with their mental well-being. I aim to create a welcoming, warm space for people to explore and heal with support. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and working alongside clients to help them achieve their goals.
My therapeutic approach focuses heavily on the mind-body connection. I utilize somatic strategies and mindfulness in tandem with approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients tune into what their bodies may be communicating and create space between themselves and their thoughts.
I am passionate about supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, attachment issues, family and relationship challenges, self-esteem, identity concerns, and navigating life changes and stress. I am an ally of the LGBTQ2IA+ community and have experience supporting gender-expansive youth and their families.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, running, and spending time with friends and family.
