Life is ever-changing and unfolds in ways that are often unpredictable. Along the way, we encounter transitions, losses, and unexpected challenges that can disrupt our sense of balance and well-being. Choosing to seek support during these moments is not a sign of weakness; it is an act of self-awareness and courage. When your inner world is asking to be heard, therapy can offer a meaningful space to listen with intention and care.
As a therapist, I see my role as a supportive guide walking alongside you as you explore your inner experiences, navigate life’s changes, and deepen your understanding of yourself. Therapy can be a rewarding and transformative process, particularly when your inner world, your thoughts, emotions, and felt experiences begin to positively influence your outer world, your actions and expectations of self and others.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. I am especially passionate about supporting college students and adults, and I am committed to providing affirming, inclusive care for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ communities, and affirming of polyamorous relationships. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where all clients feel seen, respected, and emotionally safe.
My clinical interests include prenatal stress, life transitions, childhood trauma, single-incident trauma, complex PTSD (C-PTSD), relational and social challenges, burnout, body image concerns, anxiety, and dissociation. I take a collaborative and individualized approach to therapy, integrating mindfulness-based practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed somatic interventions, tapping, visualization, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) work. I am trained in EMDR therapy and utilize EMDR to address complex trauma, early attachment wounds, and inner child healing.
I work closely with clients to explore how unresolved childhood experiences and internalized expectations can unknowingly shape adult patterns, relationships, and self-worth. Together, we focus on building insight, fostering self-compassion, and creating meaningful change. Therapeutic approaches are thoughtfully tailored to each client’s unique needs, with an emphasis on identifying strengths, cultivating confidence, and reconnecting with one’s inherent value.
