The Behind-the-Scenes Brain
A graduate of Edgewood College, Yamil brings experience as an educator and as the Business Director of Golden Vibes Counseling Center. An Afro-Cuban, first-generation U.S. citizen, born in Miami and raised in Madison, he is deeply committed to serving diverse families in the community he proudly calls home — hence the meaningful connection between Miami, FL and Madison, WI for those who may be wondering.
Yamil is passionate about expanding access to high-quality mental health support and is equally obsessed with creating unique, inspiring spaces where therapists can thrive and do their best work. He believes that the environment matters — for both clinicians and clients — and intentionally designs spaces that foster creativity, comfort, and connection.
With a forward-thinking mindset and entrepreneurial drive, he holds a clear vision of becoming a trusted, lasting presence in the community that shaped him, and continues to build with purpose and intention.
